About

About the ArchaeoHUB

The Open Digital Archaeology Hub (ArchaeoHUB) is a centralized platform that aggregates online resources related to digital archaeology. Designed to support both thematic research and geographic indexing, it allows users to explore and search diverse resources dispersed across the web.

ArchaeoHUB provides access to four main types of content: research projects, scholarly articles, digital images, and datasets. Users can navigate these resources through multiple entry points, including a search tool for precise queries, an interactive map for geographic exploration, and curated thematic collections organized by location.

Sources

The resources aggregated by ArchaeoHUB come from a selection of established sources in digital archaeology. Scholarly articles are sourced from the journal Archeologia e Calcolatori and the BiDiAr service. Digital images are provided by Archeologia e Calcolatori and the Interactive Atlas of Digital Images (IADI). Research projects and datasets are integrated from the DHeLO database, ensuring a comprehensive and continuously updated collection of materials.
